Measuring diagram

As babies come in all shapes and sizes, it will be best that you measure the baby before purchasing an outfit, shoes or accessories. We have a diagram on how to measure your baby for a perfect and comfortable fit. Please follow the diagrams which  will help you measure the baby correctly.

Please refer to diagrams below.

!

Measuring your baby's crotch length:

You place measuring tape on start of the neck and shoulder line and take it all the way down and under the crotch adding  an extra 3cm in length to your measurements. It is wise to leave extra room for growth if you are purchasing a couple of months before the actual christening ceremony or special occasion  as some babies tend to grow rapidly.

Measuring your baby's waist:

Place measuring tape around waistline adding at least an extra 3cm to your measurements. It is wise to always leave extra room for growth if you are purchasing a couple of months before the actual christening ceremony or special occasion  as some babies tend to grow rapidly.

Measuring for pants length:

Place measuring tape or a piece of string on waist and bring it right down to the ankle, always add an extra 3cm to your measurements.  It is wise to leave extra room for growth if you are purchasing an outfit a couple of months before the christening ceremony or special occasion  as some babies tend to grow rapidly.

Head circumference measurements:

Place measuring tape or string around head as shown here, always add 1-2cm for growth if purchasing an outfit a couple of months before the christening ceremony or special occasion.
